US expects record-breaking winter storm with temperatures of minus 45 degrees and state of emergency in 18 states

The United States is bracing for one of the most severe and widespread winter storms in recent years.

This storm, accompanied by a sharp drop in temperature to minus 45 degrees Celsius in some areas, heavy snowfall, freezing rain, and strong winds, is covering the country from the south to the northeast.

According to weather reports and American media, this powerful weather system could break temperature records from recent decades and have devastating effects, especially in the Midwest, Western, Northeast, and parts of the Southeast.

Forecasts indicate snowfall of more than 50 centimeters in some places, the formation of a thick layer of ice on roads, and widespread disruption to air and ground transportation.

At least 18 states have declared states of emergency, and governors have urged citizens to stay home as much as possible, postpone non-essential travel, and prepare for possible power outages and fuel shortages.
