The National Statistics Office of Uzbekistan reported that Afghan citizens made the most business trips to the country in the first ten months of 2025.
According to statistics, from January to October 2025, nearly 339,585 Afghan citizens entered Uzbekistan for business and economic activities, putting Afghanistan at the top of the list of foreign countries.
During the same period, citizens of Tajikistan with 16,734 people, Turkmenistan with 2,773 people, Russia with 673 people, and Kazakhstan with 504 people are in the next ranks.
This figure shows the strengthening of trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan and the important role of Afghan businessmen in the regional economy.
