Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian Territories, stated that the full responsibility for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip lies with the Israeli regime and its main supporters.
Albanizi emphasized that the cost of rebuilding Gaza must be paid for by Israel, and countries such as the United States, Germany, Italy, and Britain must also share in this responsibility because their military and political support for Israel has continued.
According to initial estimates by the United Nations and the World Bank, the cost of rebuilding the devastation caused by the war in Gaza is estimated at between $50 and $80 billion, making it one of the most expensive reconstruction projects in modern history.
These statements come at a time when more than a year has passed since the start of the Gaza war and most of the infrastructure in the area has been destroyed.
