Heavy Israeli air and artillery attacks in Gaza kill 318 Palestinians despite ceasefire

The Israeli occupation army targeted the Gaza Strip with heavy airstrikes and artillery on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, attacks that have killed at least 318 Palestinians since its inception, despite the fragile ceasefire of October 10.

Palestinian sources reported that the attacks included building bombings and extensive bombardment in several locations in the Gaza Strip.

According to Al Jazeera, on Sunday morning, widespread airstrikes accompanied by explosions of buildings and heavy artillery were carried out in the eastern and northern areas of Gaza, including east of Rafah, east of Deir al-Balah, east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and areas behind the “yellow line” of the Israeli forces’ withdrawal line according to the ceasefire agreement.

There were also 10 airstrikes in the eastern areas of Khan Yunis and heavy airstrikes with massive explosions in Rafah.

These repeated ceasefire violations have increased tensions in the region and raised concerns about the complete collapse of the agreement.
