According to news sources, Ukrainian drones attacked a residential building in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Kursk, Russia, on Friday morning .
According to a statement by Alexander Khinshtein, the acting governor of the Kursk region, the attack has so far left at least one dead and six injured.
One of the injured is in critical condition, and the fire caused by the attack has engulfed the top four floors of the building.
Local authorities have announced that rescue teams have been quickly dispatched to the scene to assist the injured.
No further details have been released yet about the extent of the damage or the condition of the building’s other residents.
This attack comes as the Kursk region has witnessed numerous Ukrainian drone and missile attacks in recent weeks.
