Pakistan has launched a cross-border motorcycle riding event titled Central Asia Tour 2025, which aims to boost cultural exchange tourism and expand people-to-people ties in South and Central Asia.

The 23-day voyage, which began in Lahore on July 31, will pass through Islamabad and the port of Torkham and continue through Kabul and Kunduz in Afghanistan to Tajikistan and then Uzbekistan.

The motorcyclists will once again pass through Afghanistan on their return journey, and the event will conclude in Lahore on August 22.

This trip, which is being held under the slogan of Exploring Islamic Heritage and Culture – Promoting Tourism and Friendship, emphasizes the geographical importance of Afghanistan as a key link for cultural and transit links in the region.

The event, organized by Globe Strainers Tourism Development Company in collaboration with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), will feature 11 motorcycle riders and a support vehicle, totaling 15 participants, covering a distance of approximately 5,000 kilometers.
