The largest war exercise in Australian history, titled Talisman Sword, has begun
The largest joint military exercise between Australia and the United States began on Sunday, involving more than 35,000 troops from 19 countries in Australia and the Pacific.
This exercise, now in its 11th year, is considered the largest military exercise in Australian history.
Chinese reconnaissance ships are expected to closely monitor the maneuver, while allied countries, including France, are also participating in the exercise.
The biennial exercise, which will continue until August 1, aims to strengthen military cooperation and prepare for emergencies.
