Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in a statement that the BRICS group has surpassed the Group of Seven in terms of economic indicators by expanding its influence over one-third of the planet’s area and controlling 40 percent of the global economy.
He emphasized that the unity and authority of BRICS is increasing and that the group has enormous political, economic, and humanitarian potential.
