Israel sets fire to Al-Awda Hospital’s medicine warehouse
After several days of siege and shelling of Al-Awda Hospital, the Israeli army set fire to the hospital’s medicine warehouse this morning, cutting off access to medicine and treatment for thousands of patients in need.
We cannot put out the fire; this is what the director of Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip says.
The Israeli regime continued its systematic targeting of Gaza hospitals on Thursday morning, 22th of May.
Palestinian news channels published images this morning reporting that the Israeli regime, in its continued bombing of the northern Gaza Strip, targeted the hospital’s medicine warehouse and set it on fire.
Active rescue and firefighting teams present at the hospital have not yet succeeded in containing the fire.
