The World Bank’s shocking statistics of the cost of war damages in the Gaza Strip

The recent report of the World Bank shows that in the first four months of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, infrastructure and buildings worth 18.5 billion dollars were destroyed in the Gaza Strip.

According to this report, nearly 62% of Gaza’s houses, which are about 300,000 houses, were destroyed in these destructions, and because of this, nearly one million people became homeless.

The occupiers have continued to encroach on the Gaza Strip for 6 months, and civilians have targeted health workers, journalists, and all the necessities of life in the Gaza Strip, which is suffering from a humanitarian crisis in the midst of a severe siege by the Zionists.

The World Bank said yesterday (Tuesday, the 2th of April) that the interim damage assessment report used remote data collection sources to estimate the damage to material infrastructure in critical parts of Gaza from October 2023 to the end of January 2024
