Stefan Dujarric – UN spokesperson, since October last year, the World Health Organization says that there have been 136 attacks on health centers, which have resulted in the death of 212 people among health workers, of which 70 people have been martyred in the last week alone.
The attacks have forced 21 out of 178 hospitals – or 13 percent of all hospitals in Lebanon – to shut down or reduce services, severely limiting access to essential health care.
