Denmark invests 2 billion dollars in Pakistan’s maritime sector

After six months of intensive negotiations, a joint cooperation memorandum was signed between Pakistan and Denmark, under which the ground is provided for the investment of more than 2 billion dollars by the Danish shipping company for the reconstruction of Pakistan’s ports.

During the signing of this agreement, Mohammad Aurangzeb, Minister of Finance, Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of Trade, Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning, Rana Tanveer Hassan, Minister of Production and Industry, Awais Leghari, Minister of Badakh Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Minister of Maritime Affairs, General Director of Special Investment Facilitation Council of Pakistan, and the Ambassador of Denmark were present.
