Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, said that about 45 Saudi soldiers and officers were killed and more than 100 wounded in the recent clashes in the Asir and Jizan areas.
Al-Farah also stated that since the beginning of the new round of fighting, Saudi military positions and economic assets have repeatedly been targeted by missile and drone attacks by Yemeni forces, and Saudi officials do not publish statistics on casualties and damage.
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, had previously announced the implementation of four missile and drone operations within 48 hours. According to him, the Saudi Ministry of Defense building in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, the Aramco oil company in Yanbu, and Abha International Airport were the targets of these operations.
