Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that Saudi warplanes have carried out 35 airstrikes in parts of Yemen in the past 24 hours.
According to Saree, the attacks were carried out using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets flying from Khamis Mushait and Taif bases. He said that telecommunications networks and schools in the provinces of Taiz, Jawf, Amran, Saada and Hodeidah were targeted.
Saree added that the total number of Saudi air and missile attacks since the start of the escalation of the conflict has reached 1,158.
He also said the town of Sahar in Saada province had been targeted by airstrikes several times since this morning.
