The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that its forces have captured the village of Ulanovo in the Sumy region after fierce clashes with Ukrainian forces.
According to this announcement, Ukrainian forces sent reinforcements from the 143rd Battalion to the area to maintain their positions, but efforts to strengthen the positions have not yielded results.
The Russian Defense Ministry has considered the capture of this village a step towards expanding the security zone near the Russian border.
