A severe autumn storm called the Nor’easter has hit the northeastern coast of the United States from New Jersey and New York to New England, causing coastal flooding, heavy rainfall, and strong winds.
In Atlantic City, New Jersey, water levels rose significantly, flooding parts of the coastal areas. More than 100,000 customers were without power at the height of the storm.
The storm has also disrupted air travel, with hundreds of flights canceled and more than a thousand delayed; authorities in New York and New Jersey have also declared states of emergency in vulnerable areas.
