Former Pakistani Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Durrani has called the expulsion of Afghan students, especially girls, from Pakistan “shocking” and urged Pakistani authorities to withdraw the decision.
Durrani said that returning Afghan girls to Afghanistan while they have continued their education despite difficult conditions may lead to a loss of hope and their educational future.
He emphasized that especially those Afghan students who are studying in this country with scholarships from the Pakistani government should be allowed to continue and complete their education.
