Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, has stated that the United States will fail in any attempt at a naval blockade, just as it failed in the Strait of Hormuz issue.
He emphasized that Iranian forces will never allow such a siege and have the necessary tools and capabilities to counter it.
Rezaei has also said that Iran is not a country that can be besieged with threats or imaginary plans.
This comes at a time when the United States has announced the beginning of a blockade of Iranian ports.
US Central Command has announced that the blockade of Iranian ports will begin on April 13 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
According to the statement, this blockade covers all Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
At the same time, it has been emphasized that the movement of ships traveling to non-Iranian ports in the region will not be disrupted.
