Putin and Zelensky announce temporary ceasefire for Easter
According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a halt to Russian attacks on all fronts of the war with Ukraine on the occasion of Easter.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took a similar step, emphasizing that the people of the country need an Easter without threats.
The Tass news agency reported that Putin announced that Russian forces had been ordered to halt their attacks, but to remain ready for any possible attack.
This temporary ceasefire will be in effect from 4 p.m. on April 11 to 1 a.m. on April 12, Moscow time.
