Macron’s unilateral request to Iran without condemning US and Israeli aggression

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he had spoken with Iranian President Massoud Pezzekian.

Macron said he stressed the absolute necessity of ending unacceptable attacks against countries in the region, protecting energy and civilian infrastructure, and restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

He added that he asked Iran to participate in the negotiations in good faith to pave the way for a reduction in tensions and provide a framework that meets the expectations of the international community regarding Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and its destabilizing regional activities.

Macron finally asked Iran to facilitate the return of two French citizens, Cecile Kohler and Jacques Paris, to France as soon as possible.

These requests have been made while Macron has not expressed any condemnation of the criminal aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
