The United States Department of State issued a global warning urging its citizens around the world, especially in the Middle East, to exercise increased caution.
The Ministry’s Consular Affairs Department announced in an official press release that there is a possibility of periodic closures of airspace, disruptions to travel, and flight cancellations.
The warning states that US diplomatic facilities have been targeted even outside the Middle East, and that pro-Iranian resistance movements may target other US-related interests, bases and locations and American citizens in various parts of the world.
This global warning was issued at a time when, following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, senior military commanders, and dozens of civilians in the aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime, Iran has promised a harsh and extensive response and has increased its missile and drone operations against American and Israeli targets in the region.
Analysts see this warning as a sign of the US government’s genuine fear of the scale and scope of Iran’s retaliatory response, a situation that has placed American citizens around the world on high alert and in a state of emergency.
