The Joint Headquarters of the Air Defense Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that a few hours ago, an American-Zionist F-15 fighter jet was shot down in the sky of the southern coast of the country and near Hormuz Island after being successfully intercepted by a surface-to-air missile fired by the Air Defense Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This fighter jet was intercepted and targeted by advanced defense systems after it entered the airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran without authorization and violated the country’s sovereignty.
Iran’s Air Defense Headquarters emphasized that the army’s defense forces are on full alert and that any violation of the country’s airspace will be met with a decisive and immediate response.
