US attacks again on Hashd al-Shaabi base in Kirkuk

After the downing of an American KC-135 refueling plane in western Iraq by resistance forces, US military jets targeted the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) base in Kirkuk province this morning (Friday, March 13) with extensive bombing.

Local and Iraqi security sources reported that several waves of airstrikes were carried out on the Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters in the Kirkuk region, causing material and human damage.

This US retaliatory attack occurred while the Iraqi Islamic Resistance claimed responsibility for downing the refueling plane and described it as a response to US support for the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran.

The exact number of casualties and damages has not been released yet, but informed sources report that a number of Hashd al-Shaabi forces were martyred and wounded.
