Fox News reported that the United States is preparing the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush to be deployed to the Middle East, a move that comes as the current US military campaign appears to be insufficient.
The aircraft carrier, which recently completed final pre-deployment exercises in the Atlantic, is now at Norfolk Naval Base for final preparations and loading of equipment.
The USS George H.W. Bush is a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and one of the most advanced aircraft carriers in the US Navy, capable of carrying more than 60 fighter and support aircraft.
This possible deployment comes at a time when tensions in the region have reached their peak and US bases in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are still exposed to missile and drone attacks from Iran and the Axis of Resistance.
