The destruction of the advanced 2-AN/TPY radar of the US THAAD system at the Mawfaq Al-Sulti base in Jordan by Iran

The American news agency Sianan, analyzing satellite images, confirmed that part of the advanced American THAAD anti-missile system (AN 2-TPY radar) located at the Mawfaq Al-Sulti Air Base in Azraq, Jordan, was completely destroyed and rendered inoperable by Iranian pinpoint missiles.

This operation, described as one of the most complex military attacks in recent times, has severely weakened the Israeli regime’s air defenses and demonstrates Iran’s high ability to precisely target American strategic systems deep in the region.

Satellite images released by CNN show the complete destruction of the radar site and extensive fires at the site. The radar played a key role in early warning and guidance of THAAD missiles against Iranian ballistic missiles.

The destruction of this system is part of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ongoing responses to the military aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iranian soil.
