Trump: I prefer to reach an agreement with Iran. Without an agreement, it will be a bad day for Iran

In his new stance on Iran, US President Donald Trump emphasized that all published reports about a possible war with Iran are “false.”

Trump said: “The final decision is mine and I would prefer to reach a deal with Iran, but if a deal is not reached, that will be a very bad day for Iran.”

He also called reports that General Dan Kaine, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, opposed a war against Iran “lies,” adding: “General Kaine, like all of us, would prefer that there be no war.”
