The third round of Iran-US nuclear talks will be held in Geneva on Thursday

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidy announced that the third round of indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the United States will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday (February 27, 2026).

In his message on Page X, he wrote: “I am pleased to confirm that the Iran-US talks are now scheduled for Thursday of this week in Geneva.”

Al-Busaidy added that during this round, positive efforts will be made to take further steps towards finalizing the agreement.

The first round of negotiations was held 16 days ago in Muscat, the capital of Oman, and the second round was held in Geneva on Thursday last week.

After the end of the second round, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi announced that the parties had reached a common understanding on “the main guiding principles,” but the path to reaching a final agreement still requires further efforts.
