UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, emphasizing the illegality of Israel’s actions in the occupied Palestinian territories, called for the regime’s immediate withdrawal from registering and annexing land in the West Bank.
He stated that such actions not only destabilize the region, but are also completely illegal, as the International Court of Justice has also stated.
The member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab Group in the United Nations also condemned Israel’s illegal decisions and actions in the strongest possible terms, warning that these actions are aimed at imposing illegal Israeli sovereignty over Palestinian lands and stabilizing settlement activities.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Channel 12 asked Donald Trump about Israel’s decision to annex the West Bank in an interview. Trump claimed in response that he opposed this decision and the actions related to it.
