Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, issued a threatening statement from the Rafah region, announcing that military attacks on the Gaza Strip would resume if the goal of disarming the Hamas movement was not achieved.
Zamir claimed that this strategy is applicable on all fronts and claimed that during the war, all Hamas’s preparatory battalions were destroyed, Hamas was militarily defeated, and all the Zionist hostages had returned to their homes.
He added that the Israeli army is now stationed along the Yellow Line security border, controls the entrances to the Gaza Strip, and is systematically clearing the area of military infrastructure.
Zamir announced full readiness to transition from defensive to offensive mode and threatened to respond decisively to any ceasefire violation or threat, emphasizing that there would be no retreat from the main goal of the war, which is the complete disarmament of the Gaza Strip and Hamas.
The Chief of Staff of the occupying regime’s army said that the army acts based on the orders of the political leadership, has decisive military plans, and is on full alert to launch new offensive operations if necessary.
He also claimed, without referring to the widespread crimes of the occupying army, that terrorism has no immunity and that this approach will also include other regions.
Previously, Israeli media reported that the Israeli army had developed plans for a new attack on Gaza with the aim of disarming Hamas.
