On Wednesday morning (12nd of February 2026), US President Donald Trump reiterated his repeated claims about Iran in an interview with Fox News, saying: “I think they want to make a deal. I think they would be unwise not to.”
He continued, “We destroyed their nuclear power last time, and we have to see if we can do more this time.”
Trump called the JCPOA the worst and stupidest agreement in history, adding that what Obama and Biden did in creating the Iranian monster was terrible.
Expressing his true desire to negotiate with Iran, the US President said: “I would prefer to have an agreement with Iran in which there are no missile weapons and no nuclear capabilities.”
