To Westerners and intellectuals claiming to have selective human rights awareness and silence against Epstein’s crimes
Many advocates of human rights, women’s and children’s rights, become vociferous defenders of these values as soon as they hear the name of an Islamic country, repeating Western media narratives without examining them. However, they remain significantly silent when it comes to the Jeffrey Eastin case and the organized network of child abuse, torture and murder, or the killing of tens of thousands of children in Gaza.
This silence is not neutrality, but a sign of a submissive mentality and complicity in oppression. Human rights are a selective political tool to maintain Western power, and silence in the face of crimes against children is acceptance of domination and justification for it at any cost.
Jeffrey Epstein, without any specific academic qualifications, went from being a teacher at an elite New York school to an inexplicable rise on Wall Street. His fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars was tied to major financial fraudsters and he had a circle of presidents, princes, billionaires, and scientists around him.
With the financial support of Leslie Wexner, who had entrusted him with her assets, and using charity and lavish parties, Epstein created an organized network for the sexual abuse of minors; since the 1990s, reports from victims were censored and threatened, documents disappeared in the Palm Beach case, and in 2007, he was released from life imprisonment with a confidential and shameful plea deal.
He was arrested again in 2019 and shocking documents were discovered, but before the truth could be fully revealed, he “committed suicide” in his prison cell with the cameras turned off, guards absent, and many ambiguities. Experts rejected the suicide narrative, and the final documents were not fully released under the pretext of protecting the victims’ reputation.
This case is a symbol of justice, selective immunity for the powerful, and the burial of the truth in a civilization that accuses others of being primitive but itself remains silent or makes excuses for organized crimes against children.
