US President Donald Trump announced that Iran wants to reach an agreement.
At the same time, a spokesperson for the US State Department emphasized in an interview with Fox News that Trump is willing to see the Iranian regime return to the negotiating table and reach an agreement that addresses Washington’s clear concerns.
These statements come as tensions between the two countries continue and the United States insists on the need for a comprehensive and lasting agreement to resolve regional nuclear issues and other security concerns.
