Zabihullah Mujahid: America has not directly given money to the Islamic Emirate, we want good relations and investment
Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, announced in an interview with Payam Afghan TV that the United States has not provided any direct financial assistance to the Islamic Emirate so far and has only sent funds for humanitarian aid through international organizations.
He emphasized that so far, no source has directly given money to the Islamic Emirate.
Mujahid added that the Islamic Emirate wants good relations with the United States, and just as China, Russia, and regional countries are investing in Afghanistan, Europe and the United States should also take action.
He said about American policy: “American policy is currently unstable. One policy in the morning and another policy in the evening. But it seems that they have come to the conclusion that their lack of presence in Afghanistan and the region is their own fault. Perhaps they are thinking about returning diplomatically to Afghanistan, and the conditions are ready for that, and the Islamic Emirate also supports diplomatic presence.”
In response to a question about the reopening of girls’ schools, the spokesman for the Islamic Emirate refused to comment directly, saying: “It is difficult for me to talk about this.”
Mujahid also denied reports of internal disputes among Islamic Emirate officials.
Regarding the Wakhan route, he stated that the construction of the Wakhan Road is underway, but an agreement with China is needed to start trade through this route, and talks in this regard are ongoing.
In the section on economic achievements, Mojahid said that the proposal to build nearly a thousand factories in the country is being considered, and that the construction of 800 factories is currently underway in different provinces, and that 500 development projects have been planned for this year in different provinces, and their work is currently underway.
