New Russia-Ukraine-US summit to be held in Abu Dhabi on February 1
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, will host a re-meeting of the Russian, Ukrainian and American delegations on February 1st on ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
The meeting is the third round of indirect or multilateral talks between the parties since the escalation of tensions, and is expected to discuss key issues such as a ceasefire, a stable prisoner exchange, the status of the occupied territories, and security guarantees.
Peskov stressed that Russia will participate in the negotiations with a realistic approach based on its national interests, but any final agreement must be approved by the Russian leadership.
