Official visit of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade to Bangladesh to expand trade relations

Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, traveled to Bangladesh along with an official government delegation and five prominent national businessmen to strengthen economic and trade cooperation.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, comprehensive talks will be held between government officials and the private sector of the two countries during this visit.

The main focus of the negotiations includes strengthening bilateral and commercial relations, developing exports and imports, facilitating customs and trade procedures, exploring joint investment opportunities, and signing business cooperation agreements.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce emphasized that the main goal of this trip is to provide Afghan traders with access to new markets, increase the export of Afghan products, and strengthen economic cooperation at the regional level.

The ministry considered such official visits an important factor in economic growth, the development of foreign trade, and the strengthening of the foundations of the country’s national economy.
