On Saturday morning, Netblocks announced that the nationwide internet outage in Iran had exceeded 200 hours.
The global internet watchdog reported that data shows that after crossing the 200-hour mark, a very slight increase in internet connectivity was observed in Iran this morning, however, the overall level of connectivity still remains around 2 percent of normal and there is no sign of a significant internet recovery.
In contrast, Cloudflare Radar announced that there were some signs of a gradual return of connectivity, with internet traffic levels increasing by about 50 times immediately after 3:30 a.m. Saturday Tehran time.
A number of Iranian users on X have also reported limited internet reconnection, although these reports have not yet been widely confirmed.
The internet shutdown in Iran began in mid-December 2025 and continues to this day; a measure that officials have justified as a way to control unrest and prevent the spread of misinformation.
