Trump calls Iran for nuclear talks; threatens to attack if violence against rioters

In his recent statements, US President Donald Trump announced Iran’s call for negotiations on its nuclear program and at the same time repeated severe threats against the Islamic Republic.

Trump said Iran “called yesterday to discuss their nuclear program and we may meet with them.”

He also emphasized that the US government is in contact with Iranian opposition leaders, adding: “We are in contact with Iranian opposition leaders.”

Trump continued by mentioning the effort to provide internet to the people of Iran, saying: “We are working to provide internet to the Iranians, and I discussed this with Elon Musk.”

The US president warned in a threatening tone: “If Iran uses violence against protesters, we will attack Iran in a way they have never seen before.”

At the end of his remarks, he once again emphasized the existence of strong options against Iran, saying, “We have very strong options against Iran, and we will respond to every one of their actions with severity and determination.”
