Russian official: Ukrainian army shelled 130 civilians in the town of Selidovo

According to Sputnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Special Envoy for the Crimes of the Kiev Regime, Rodion Miroshnik, announced that Ukrainian armed forces have killed 130 people in the town of Selidovo, located in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Miroshnik stressed that this brutal act has caused a large number of residents to flee frontline areas for fear of continued attacks.

He added that efforts are currently underway to accurately count the number of survivors and identify the status of the remaining residents.

The city of Selidovo, located about 40 kilometers northwest of Donetsk, is of great strategic importance. In October 2024, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the complete liberation of the city from the control of Ukrainian forces.

These claims come as fighting continues in the Donetsk region, with both sides accusing each other of targeting civilians.
