US President Donald Trump said in a statement quoted by Reuters: “We are looking at very strong options against Iran and the military is looking at this.”
At the same time, CBS reported, citing a senior American official, that the United States has several options and capabilities against Iran, one of which is conducting cyber attacks.
The American official also emphasized that the Trump administration supports Elon Musk’s decision to provide Starlink devices to activate the internet inside Iran.
These statements come as tensions between Washington and Tehran have increased in recent months over regional nuclear issues and human rights, and the discussion of new pressure tools, including cyber and communications, has once again become a hot topic in political circles.
