Trump threatens action against Colombia, predicts imminent fall of Cuba
Following the military operation that led to the overthrow of Venezuela’s legitimate president, Nicolas Maduro, US President Donald Trump threatened his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo de Petro, saying that the Cuban government would also soon fall.
In remarks to reporters, Trump described Colombia as a sick country led by a sick man and accused Petro of producing and selling cocaine to the United States, adding: “He won’t be doing this for a long time.”
In response to a question about the possibility of military operations in Colombia, he said: “It looks good.”
The US President also stated about Cuba that Cuba is ready to fall. It seems that Cuba is on the verge of collapse. I don’t know how they are going to keep it going, but Cuba has no income now, and all of its income came from Venezuela and Venezuelan oil.”
Trump stressed that there was no need for military action in Cuba because the country was collapsing on its own.
