Al-Qassam Brigades confirms martyrdom of Abu Ubaydah and several of its senior commanders
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced the martyrdom of Abu Ubaidah Hudhaifa Al-Kahlut, the former spokesman of the brigades, in an official video released while introducing their new spokesman.
In this video message, the new spokesman for Al-Qassam confirmed the testimony of senior commanders, including Muhammad Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim, Commander of the General Staff of Al-Qassam Brigades), the Issa Order, prominent commanders with a history of jihadist activity in Lebanon and Syria, Muhammad Shabana Raed Saad, and Abu Omar Al-Suri.
News sources also reported that Abu Ubaydah’s family was also martyred in the Israeli attack. His wife and three young children died with him.
This announcement comes as Al-Qassam has emphasized the continuation of its activities by introducing a new spokesperson.
