The first shipment of industrial machinery was exported from Herat to Tajikistan

The first shipment of industrial machinery and devices needed by lime, gypsum, and cement factories was exported from the Herat Industrial City to Tajikistan, with a declared value of 350,000 US dollars.

Marouf Mohammadi, the head of the steel company and exporter of these products, told the media that this shipment includes a complete package of smoke purification, preheating furnace, billet conveyor lifting system, crushers, complete cooling package, and material storage silos, which were sent to Tajikistan in pieces.

According to him, the total value of the contract to export this machinery is one million and 200 thousand dollars, and in the first phase, a shipment worth 350 thousand dollars was exported.

Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, welcomed these exports and said that the Islamic Emirate has provided the necessary facilities for industrialists to invest, and the export value of the country’s domestic products has currently reached about two billion dollars.
