Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the first Central Asia + Japan Summit that Afghanistan is one of the key areas of regional cooperation.
Mirziyoyev expressed hope that Afghanistan will become a peaceful, stable country focused on achieving meaningful development.
The President of Uzbekistan also thanked Japan for its strong and consistent support for the Afghan people over the years, assuring that joint actions and collective partnerships will lead to improving the living standards of Afghans, socio-economic and infrastructural development, and Afghanistan’s active participation in regional economic projects.
These statements were made in order to strengthen regional cooperation and support the stability and development of Afghanistan.
