Increasing trade and digital cooperation between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan
Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with a high-level delegation led by Bakht Sedikov, Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan, and discussed strengthening economic relations and digitizing financial services.
In this meeting, Mr. Hanafi emphasized Afghanistan’s full readiness to expand cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and called it necessary to establish electronic administrative and banking channels between the two countries.
The Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Trade, while assuring the continuation of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, also announced his country’s willingness to cooperate in the areas of e-governance, printing of securities, and electronic payment systems.
This meeting is considered an important step towards developing economic and digital cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
