Germany donates €2 million to Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that the German government has allocated 2 million euros (about $2.31 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Aid Fund.
On Monday, 1404 (1404), Ocha wrote on his page X, expressing gratitude for this assistance, saying that the continued support of donor countries restores hope to people whose lives have been disrupted by shocks, crises, and sudden events.
This assistance comes as Afghanistan continues to face severe humanitarian challenges, including widespread poverty, natural disasters, and the urgent needs of millions of people.
The United Nations has warned that more than half of Afghanistan’s population is in urgent need of assistance.
This German action is part of international commitments to support the people of Afghanistan and can be effective in providing essential needs such as food, shelter, and health services.
