Moscow shoots down 77 Ukrainian drones in one night
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the country’s air defense systems shot down 77 Ukrainian attack drones overnight in the skies over seven regions in southern and central Russia, as well as the occupied Crimean peninsula.
The ministry wrote on its Telegram channel that drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Belgorod, Rostov, Voronezh, Kursk, Bryansk, Leningrad and Crimea regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry rarely provides details on possible damage from Ukrainian drone strikes and almost never confirms that military targets have been hit.
This event occurs as the Russia-Ukraine war enters its fourth year and reciprocal air and drone attacks from both sides continue.
