Sardar Ahmad Shakib, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Pakistan, met with Mohammad Halim, former advisor to the Egyptian Embassy in Afghanistan and his successor, Mohammad Mamdouh, on Monday (December 8, 2025).
In this meeting, the two sides discussed in detail the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Egypt.
Mohammad Halim bid farewell to the Afghan ambassador on the occasion of the end of his mission and, appreciating the cooperation of Afghan officials, emphasized that Egypt and Afghanistan are two brotherly countries and their relations should be further strengthened.
Sardar Ahmed Shakib thanked Egypt for its support and Mr. Halim’s role in developing relations, welcomed his successor, and expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would expand in the areas of trade, education, scholarships, people-to-people exchanges, and other related fields.
