Qatar, Uzbekistan officials meet on the sidelines of the Doha Forum on Afghanistan

On the sidelines of the 23rd Doha Forum, Majid Mohammad Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesman of the Qatari Foreign Ministry, met with Esmatullah Irgashov, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry announced that in this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding regional cooperation, joint coordination on the situation in Afghanistan, and other issues of interest.

The meeting came a day before the main discussions on the second day of the Doha Forum, where the situation in Afghanistan will be the main focus of the talks.
