Doha Forum 2025 meeting begins with the presence of a representative of the Islamic Emirate

The annual meeting of the Doha Forum began today (Saturday, December 6, 2025) with a speech by Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, and will continue until December 8.

The representative of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is also present at the gathering, which is attended by representatives of more than 160 countries.

The slogan for this year’s Doha Forum has been announced as Justice in Action, Beyond Promises to Progress.

According to the program, on the second day of the meeting (Sunday), a special panel entitled “Improving Afghanistan through Regional Connectivity” will be held. Georgetown University Qatar will be speaking.

At the opening ceremony, the Qatari Prime Minister emphasized that mediation efforts to establish a new ceasefire in Gaza are continuing despite the continued Israeli bombardment.

In addition to Afghanistan, the three-day meeting will also discuss the issues of Gaza, the war in Ukraine, Middle East tensions, Iran-Israel relations, and global trade concerns.

The Doha Forum is one of the most important annual global forums that brings together political leaders, diplomats, and business activists.
