Afghanistan’s national weightlifting team leaves for Iran’s Fajr International Competition

Three national weightlifting athletes, along with a coach, left for Tehran on Monday, to participate in the “Fajr Cup” international competition.

The country’s National Weightlifting Federation announced that national athletes will compete against international opponents in various weight classes.

These competitions will begin on December 25, hosted by Tehran, and are considered one of the most prestigious annual weightlifting events in the region.

The country’s Weightlifting Federation has wished the athletes success and expressed hope that the Afghan representatives will be able to achieve brilliant results.
